one thing i've learned since graduation: i really didn't (and don't) know myself as well as i thought i did. by this i don't at all mean that i wasn't myself before. i am just more myself now. and i am realizing that life really is a journey. i've heard it a thousand times before. but now i've learned it for myself.
today i brought upon myself stress and discouragement thinking about these things, my life, my passions, my future. i just started dwelling on the unhappiness i've found in my current job. then overwhelmed myself trying to come up with new solutions to my next job problem. what should i try to do? where should i try to do this? UGH!
i am still figuring myself out. i'm still learning what i am passionate about, what matters to me in life, and that God's plan is always good and always perfect...when i cannot see even a glimpse, it is there and it is perfect. i am choosing to truly believe that.
then, i think about all the ways i am so blessed in life. for instence: my dear family and my amazing female friends i have right now! they're so great. such a blessing, also, the fact that at least i have a job...i am blessed in countless ways. i should definately realize this daily and be thankful for them rather than dwelling on the only negative thing going on in my life. especially since i do know that God knows what He's doing...therefore, i should praise him that i don't! this way hopefully i'll always try to walk with him so that i may be receptive to the Spirit's leading...hopefully.
so that's that. for now, at least.

I am really liking using the iPod theme a lot lately. You should give it a shot!
here's my take:
move to dallas.
bring friends with.
have party all the time.
Thank you for always reminding me to hold my joy in Christ and to have faith his plan is perfect...you are a blessing to me!
you should be a teacher, teaching kids earth science and about clouds, then inspire kids to learn to dance, and then they'll give you the courage to pursue your dream of working for the weather channel and marrying the older hunky meteorologist but this hurricane comes and he's propsing and the ring ends up in the ocean and hilarity ensues.
oh wait, that's the synopis of my new romantic comedy script, i'm thinking mandy moore and ron livingston as the leads.
woooo!
i always come back to feeling really blessed with the great relationships the Lord has given me - especially one with Him. the future can create worry and stress; usually in spurts. remembering ecclesiastes and that all the things solomon pursued are meaningless helps put me at ease with what i truly value and worship.
hope to see you this summer. misses.
